Lineamenta™ was conceived from over three decades of direct experience in fine art education and professional practice.

Founded by Polina Bisevac, the vision behind Lineamenta™ was precise: to develop high-quality artistic tools that meet the real demands of serious training—while remaining financially accessible to a broader community of artists.

The current market presents a consistent problem. Many tools are mass-produced with inconsistent quality control, yet sold at prices that do not reflect their actual performance. For artists working within a disciplined, skill-based system, these limitations are not minor—they directly interfere with accuracy, learning, and results.

Lineamenta was created as a corrective to that gap.

The name Lineamenta™ (from Latin) referring to line, structure, and defining form—the foundation of all representational art. More specifically, it implies intentional, measured line, not casual mark-making. This is the core of the system.
